About The Challenge

The Superseed Challenge is a bartering bonanza, raising money for charity and takes place from 4th November to 15th December 2011.

To take part in the challenge, raise money for the Moringa Tree charity and maybe win your tickets for the Asaabako Festival in Ghana, all you have to do is SWAP!

Step One: Register

You or your team of up to 4 people can easily register at the link below. When the Challenge is launched in November, we will send you in the post your own Super Moringa Seed.

Step Two: Swap Swap

Over the next 5 weeks you can trade your Moringa Seed as many times as you like, so that you end up with the most valuable item possible. See this link for hints and tips.

When the Challenge closes on the 15th December, we will auction of all the items and the person or team raising the most money will win tickets to the 2012 Asaabako Festival.

Step Three: Share Megaphone

Keep in touch with all the other traders and teams by Facebook and Twitter. When the auction goes live you'll also want to let people know about your item to bump up the price.

  1. When is the SuperSeed Challenge happening?

    The first SuperSeed Challenge is happening between the 4th November and 15th December 2011

  2. What does the Challenge involve?

    Individuals and teams will be sent a Moringa Seed. They will then be able to trade these for more and more valuable items. When the Challenge finishes all these Final Items will be sold off with the money going to the Moringa Tree Charity to help it use art and culture to make a positive change in the world.

  3. What is the Moringa Tree?

    The Moringa Tree is a Uk Registered Charity, no 1143063. It aims to use art and culture to make positive changes in the world. The Moringa Tree in 2011 facilitated the Asabaako Festival in Ghana and aims to help local people manage music festivals all over the world, with the money generated being ploughed back into local development projects.

  4. What can I trade my Moringa Seed for?

    You can trade your Moringa Seed for any legal item that you want to! Click here to get tips from kyle MacDonald, who started with a red paperclip and traded his way up to a house!

  5. Why do I need to fill our SuperSeed trade Forms?

    The Moringa Tree needs to be able to show where their donations come from. This is a really useful way of being able to track back. Also it shows just how resourceful you have been.

  6. How do I get my Final Item to the Moringa Tree?

    When the Challenge has finished, you will be contacted by one of the Moringa Tree representatives who will discuss this with you. This will probably involve either posting the item to the Moringa Tree, at "the Charity's expense or the Moringa Tree, picking up the item themselves.

Terms & Conditions
  1. I understand that these are the Terms and Conditions which govern my participation in the SuperSeed Challenge happening between 4th November and 15th December 2011.

  2. The SuperSeed Challenge raises money for the Moringa Tree (Uk registered Charity number- 1143063)

  3. I can either take part on my own or as part of a team of up to 4 people.

  4. I will pay an Entry Fee of £10 which will cover the administrative costs of my participation.

  5. In return for the Entry Fee, I will be able to take part in the Challenge and be sent in the post my Moringa Seed.

  6. Using my own initiative and entrepreneurial skills I will trade my Moringa Seed for an Alternative Item.

  7. To show that we both understand the nature of the Challenge, I and the owner of the Alternative Item will complete one of the SuperSeed Trade Forms, which I can download from the Challenge website.

  8. I can the trade the Alternative Item for an even more valuable item and complete the SuperSeed Form. I know that I can do this as many times as I am able while the Challenge is happening.

  9. I will keep safe all the completed SuperSeed Forms and return them with my Final Item at the end of the Challenge.

  10. I know that whatever item I end up with is the property of the Moringa Tree and it will be sold to raise money for the charity.

  11. When I have completed the Challenge I will help the Moringa Tree to take possession of my Final Item ( at the Moringa Tree's expense).

  12. I will not do anything illegal or which is likely to harm the reputation of the Moringa Tree, while taking part in the Challenge.

  13. I understand that the person or team who supply the most valuable Final Item will receive free tickets to the Asaabako festival 2012 in Ghana.

  14. The Moringa Tree will be able to use any images that I provide for their publicity and other legitimate purposes.
